Doesn’t baptism wash away unscriptural marriages?
If you are divorced & remarried before you become a Christian are not your sins forgiven and He remembers them no more?
The Answer:
Absolutely, but that does not mean that you can go on committing the same sin, which is what your question suggests concerning adultery. If the marriage was adulterous before the conversion it is adulterous after the conversion. No matter how many times the question is asked, the answer doesn’t change because the scripture doesn’t change. Please see “Class:Questions,” Lesson 2 on “Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage.”
